  • Conventional Oven

Ingredients
  

  • cup sugar
  • 16 tbsp butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cup cake Flour
  • 5 tbsp coffee
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Separate eggs. Add yolks to sugar and butter, mixing well.
  • Sift dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients alternately with the liquids.
  • Fold in well-beaten egg whites last.
  • Makes three layers. Place in 3 pans.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until done.
