Kingdom Come Duck
- 4 Duck Breast
- 1½ cup butter
- ⅔ cup Sherry
- 2 can Consomme
- ½ cup Bourbon
- 5 oz Currant Jelly
- 4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- Boil duck covered in consomme for 2 hours.
- Bone duck, and put in a casserole.
- In a saucepan, heat butter, sherry, bourbon, Currant jelly and Worcestershire sauce. Pour sauce over meat.
This recipe is too rich to serve as a main dish; serve it with toothpicks as an appetizer.
