Italian Sausage Quiche

  • Conventional Oven


  • 1 Pie Shell 9 inch, deep dish, frozen, thawed
  • ½ lb sausage browned and crumbled
  • 16 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tomatoes sliced, optional
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • ¼ cup onion chopped, sauteed in butter
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper chopped, sauteed in butter


  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Brown and crumble sausage in the bottom of a 9-inch frozen pie shell. Add sauteed onions and peppers. Layer grated cheese on top of meat mixture. Beat eggs and milk together. Pour over sausage and cheese layers. Place tomato slices on top. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Turn oven down to 350 degrees and continue baking until golden brown and filling is set. Let stand 15 minutes. Cut and serve.


TIP: Use any kind of breakfast meats--Canadian bacon, bacon, ham, Italian sausage, etc.
