Old Fashion Raisin Pie

- Conventional Oven
Ingredients
- 2 cups raisins seedless
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 double pie crust
Instructions
- Heat oven to 425 degrees
- Combine raisins and water and boil for 5 minutes
- Blend sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt
- Remove from heat and stir in vinegar and butter
- Cool slightly. Turn into pastry lined pie pan.
- Brush top of pie with a mixture of 1 Tbsp sugar and a little milk
- Cut wheat design in top of crust
- Bake 30 minutes
