Sour Cream Coffee Cake

  • Conventional Oven


  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 16 tbsp butter softened
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • Preheat oven to 350


  • Spray a bundt pan with cooking oil, and lightly dust with flour. Mix together 2 cups of sugar, margarine, salt, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, flour and baking powder with an electric mixer until smooth and thick. Pour half of batter into pan.

Nut MIxture

  • Mix together pecans, 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 3/4 of nut mixture on cake batter.
  • Pour remainder of batter over nut mixture, and then top with remaining nut mixture.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
