Green Pepper Steak
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 lb Round Steak
- 1 cup celery diced
- 2-3 green bell pepper diced
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 1 onion chunked
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup wine
Instructions
- Cut round steak into cubes and dredged in flour. Brown steak in oil.
- Add celery, green peppers, garlic, onion, water and soy sauce. Bring to simmer. Add one cup of wine (sauterne or burgundy).
- Simmer until tender (about 1-1/2 hours). Serve with rice.
