Green Pepper Steak

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 lb Round Steak
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 2-3 green bell pepper diced
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 onion chunked
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup wine

Instructions
 

  • Cut round steak into cubes and dredged in flour. Brown steak in oil.
  • Add celery, green peppers, garlic, onion, water and soy sauce. Bring to simmer. Add one cup of wine (sauterne or burgundy).
  • Simmer until tender (about 1-1/2 hours). Serve with rice.
