Beer Bread

  • Conventional Oven


  • 3 cup self rising flour
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 1 can beer Miller Lite


  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Mix together flour, sugar, and beer.
  • Pour into 1 large loaf pan or 2 small loaf pans.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Raise oven temp to 375. Melt butter, pour over bread and bake for additional 15 minutes

    Good bread, but it was too much butter for me in the end step. I will try 4 tbsp next time.
